Responsibilities
Supports global laboratories with ongoing projects related to Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), in particular Thermo Sample Manager
Interprets laboratory test methods for the calculations and formulas needed to generate results
Compiles custom calculation fields in LIMS (Sample Manager) which are needed to calculate laboratory results in the system
Chromatographic Data Systems (CDS, such as Empower) are a secondary goal for this resource
Drafts documents which will serve as guidelines for the laboratory to use calculations and report results
Follows calculation validation processes related to laboratory quality applications
Reports to Quality Systems support team
Qualification
Required
Experience with Thermo SampleManager is required
Develop and validate calculations formulas in Thermo SampleManager LIMS
Follow a test method and/or procedure and be able to create the formula on their own
Users must have experience using them, developing them and validating them
Support the sample management in the Thermo SampleManager app
Creating, developing and validating the sample management application
Knowledge of sample management
Methodology in the laboratory
GMP experience is required
Looking for Documentation experience
Interact with individual SME
Proceed to create validation
Supporting approval activities
Working with calculation
GMP background
Experience with Thermo SampleManager is required
LIMS experience is required
Minimum 5 years of experience in Thermo SampleManager
Drafting the document
Need to follow the templates and polices
High level of documentation experience is required
This is focused on calculation-based
Managed the study documentation
Lab experience and GMP knowledge
Understanding of methodology requirement
A bachelor's degree is required
Validation in a GXP environment
Chromatography exp (Processing and reporting of data)
Preferred
Chromatographic Data Systems is plus
Working on Empower
Understanding of Laboratory test method (Analytical test method)
Laboratory analyst with chromatography experience, preferably Sample Manager LIMS
Lab administration, supporting quality systems used by the laboratory
Understanding of CDS such as Empower or Chromeleon
Scientific background with experience following analytical test methods
Multi-site or multi-stakeholder project work supporting laboratory quality systems
