Responsibilities
Solution Design Development
Translate business requirements into Appian process models SAIL interfaces integrations and rules
Design implement and optimize business processes and workflows using Appian best practices
Create SAIL interfaces expression rules CDTs records reports and dashboards
Develop integrations with third-party systems using Appian Integration Objects RESTSOAP APIs and plugins
Build and maintain scalable secure and reusable components across the Appian ecosystem
Execute and manage unit testing within Appian Designer
Technical Delivery Support
Support operations and maintenance of existing Appian code with enhancements to improve performance scalability and usability
Ensure solution security through proper application of Appian authorization group management and access controls
Troubleshoot production issues identify root causes and implement fixes
Agile Execution Collaboration
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning refinements reviews and retrospectives
Use tools such as JIRA for tracking work defects and development progress
Collaborate closely with QA teams architect’s product owners and cross functional stakeholders
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Appian developers
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of IT experience
Significant hands-on experience automating business workflows using Appian
Proven abilities to translate functional requirements into robust Appian business flows
Experience collaborating with system owner's technical teams and functional teams throughout design implementation testing and deployment
Strong background in developing new applications and enhancing existing Appian components
Ability to estimate effort accurately and plan work for timely delivery
Strong handson experience in Process Models
Strong handson experience in SAIL Interfaces
Strong handson experience in Expression Rules
Strong handson experience in Appian Integrations
Strong handson experience in CDT design and management
Strong handson experience in Records Reports and Appian Security
Experience designing and developing third-party integrations RESTSOAP Web APIs plugins
Knowledge of Appian recommended best practices in solution architecture
Experience creating and executing unit tests within Appian Designer
Good understanding of Appian groups security and complex process flows
Experience with database management SQL queries and data validation
Proficient in Agile Scrum practices and tools like JIRA
Appian Level 1 Developer Certification mandatory
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and lead specific technical workstreams
Bachelor's degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field or higher
Mandatory Skills: Appium-Python -Testing
Preferred
Appian Level 2 Certification preferred
