Responsibilities
Perform and review general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, reclassifications, and corrections
Prepare, analyze, and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
Research and resolve accounting discrepancies, variances, and data issues
Prepare and analyze financial reports; ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis as needed
Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from finance leadership and stakeholders
Work with ERP and financial systems to extract, validate, and analyze data
Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries
Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
Maintain documentation of accounting procedures and controls
Qualification
Required
4-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and reconciliations
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, working with large datasets)
Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
