Responsibilities
Lead the "AI for Data Protection" strategy, utilizing machine learning to automate product components at Google scale
Direct the product roadmap for compliance-critical infrastructure, ensuring readiness for emerging global regulations like the EU AI Act
Partner cross-functionally with product areas, Legal, Privacy, TRM and Engineering to build foundational tools that help protect user data across Alphabet
Navigate complex trade-offs in roadmap between transforming the team to be AI first and other stringent data protection requirements, providing clear guidance to stakeholders
Drive organizational change by transitioning parts of legacy infra into scalable, AI-driven technical solutions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
10 years of experience in product management or a related technical role
5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.)
5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership
5 years of experience in technical product management, with experience shipping infrastructure, security, or privacy products
Experience with data protection domains such as data lifecycle management, access control, encryption, or automated policy enforcement
Preferred
Master's degree in a technology or business related field
10 years of experience in technical product management, with a track record of shipping large-scale infrastructure, security, or privacy products
5 years of experience in software development or engineering
Experience managing and developing teams of product managers, including experience leading multi-location teams across different time zones or geographies
Experience translating global regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, DMA, or the EU AI Act) into scalable technical roadmaps and product features
Ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional partners in Legal, Engineering, and Policy to balance risk with product innovation
