Responsibilities
Review hemming project proposals to determine timelines, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing hemming operations, and allocation of available resources across all phases of the hemming project
Serve as the primary customer contact and provide technical expertise for overall hemming project management, including but not limited to hemming tool/process development, design and hemming feasibility buy‑off, and integration of hemming equipment and systems into the production line
Confer with project and manufacturing personnel to define the work plan and assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority related to hemming activities
Review status reports prepared by project personnel and adjust schedules, tooling plans, or process parameters as required to support hemming quality and timing targets
Prepare detailed hemming project reports for management, customers, and other stakeholders
Continuously strive to improve Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Safety (QDCS) within all hemming operations
Qualification
Required
5 years related experience
Exceptional interpersonal/communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Teamwork and leadership skills
Ability to travel for service and installation, both nationally and internationally
