Responsibilities
The CAD Design Technician uses computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed 2D and 3D models for engineering and manufacturing projects
This individual works in conjunction with the Electrical Engineer and is Responsible for detailed design and documentation of electrical power and control wiring, instrumentation loops, electrical schematics, cable tray layouts, instrumentation and electrical details, and cable schedules
Limited travel may be required with project teams
Driving will only be required for sporadic field visits
Most of the work is local to Chesterfield. When travel is required for a field visit, we have a fleet of leased vehicles that can be checked out for the trip
Qualification
Required
7+ years of CAD design/drafting experience, with a good background in power and control system design
AutoCAD experience required
Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of electrical design principles, and manufacturing processes
Preferred
Solid background in the Pharma industry is a must
