Responsibilities
Provide Level 2 support across hardware, software, networking, and user issues
Serve as primary break‑fix resource, including troubleshooting switches, devices, and peripherals
Support domain control, network architecture fundamentals, and basic networking tasks
Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environment (Teams, Outlook, Office apps)
Support core business systems including:
Redicer ERP
Student Information Systems
MIP Accounting Software
Blackbaud / Raiser’s Edge
College retention and graduation‑tracking systems
Assist with budgeting by identifying unnecessary spend or outdated processes
Recommend and implement more cost‑effective or modernized solutions
Collaborate with Managed Services Partners (NIE) to ensure clean governance and system stability
Participate in custom application development efforts (nice to have)
Provide excellent communication and documentation for end users and leadership
Support both routine tasks (e.g., “fix a keyboard”) and higher‑level operational needs
Qualification
Required
3–5+ years of IT support experience, ideally in a Level 2 capacity
Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
Experience in a Microsoft environment (365, Teams, Outlook, domain services)
Ability to work across multiple business systems and learn new platforms quickly
Solid Excel and communication skills
Familiarity with basic AI tools and modern productivity technologies
Ability to think strategically, challenge outdated processes, and propose improvements
Comfortable in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment supporting diverse users
Preferred
Experience with custom application development
Exposure to education, nonprofit, or mission‑driven organizations
