Responsibilities

Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and trusts
Stay current on tax laws, provide proactive client advice, and maintain regulatory compliance and documentation
Assist in managing multiple tax engagements, ensuring deadlines are met and strong client relationships are maintained
Support junior staff development through coaching and help ensure the quality of deliverables
Identify workflow enhancements and contribute to best practices and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
2+ years of public tax experience, preferably with prior experience at a CPA firm
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, GAAS, and tax codes, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, tax software, and financial reporting systems
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated professional with excellent time management, multitasking, and communication skills

Preferred

CPA preferred or actively pursuing CPA certification
Exposure to a wide range of industries and experience preparing returns for partnerships, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals preferred
