Operations Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
Ensure that projects and process control documents are compliant with requirements, objectives and contracts
Verification of materials and processes and verification of certifications from sub-tier vendors
Completion of all applicable paperwork (working to AS9100 standards)
Performance of various other quality functions as required to ensure the timely delivery of product to the customer
Assist with root cause analysis and recommend corrective action(s)
Perform escape management procedures
Perform Audits of vendors at their locations to applicable technical data packages and industry standards
Develop strong working relationships with the touch labor, factory leadership, program leadership, and DCMA
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field or other technical degree of study or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of quality engineering experience
Previous experience with interpreting technical blueprints and job shop mathematical calculations in a manufacturing environment
U.S. Citizenship required as the candidate must have the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Preferred
Must be able to follow written instructions and to work with little to no supervision
Thorough organizational skills and familiarity with requirements of an AS9100 based quality system
Ensure that all required process operations have been performed on the product that is being inspected
