Engineering Technician - Electronic - Navy
Supply Chain Management Inc.1.com (SCMI1) has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician VI with an Electronics specialization supporting the United States Navy. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and testing various systems on U.S. Navy ships, as well as conducting assessments and communicating findings through official reports.

Responsibilities
Independently or leading a team of technicians troubleshooting, repairing or testing U.S. Navy ship structural, mechanical or electrical equipment/systems
Independently or leading a team accomplishing formal material condition assessments (Ex. TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of U.S. Navy ship’s systems
Communicating the findings of the above troubleshooting/assessments with official reports
Documented experience with the following, or similar, workload databases: Microsoft Office products, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Electronic Departure From Specifications (eDFS), Navy Ship’s Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR) and TAAS-Info
Assessment and oversight of repair of U.S. Navy ships’ propulsion control systems
Interpreting naval engineering drawings and electrical diagrams
Qualification
Required
A minimum of three years of 'journeyman level' experience within the last five years in each area (1) through (4) below:
Independently or leading a team of technicians troubleshooting, repairing or testing U.S. Navy ship structural, mechanical or electrical equipment/systems
Independently or leading a team accomplishing formal material condition assessments (Ex. TSRA, ICMP, INSURV or similar) of U.S. Navy ship's systems
Communicating the findings of the above troubleshooting/assessments with official reports
Documented experience with the following, or similar, workload databases: Microsoft Office products, Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), Electronic Departure From Specifications (eDFS), Navy Ship's Engineering Drawing Repository (NSEDR) and TAAS-Info
The experience required is a combination of mechanical, electronic and electrical disciplines, but is primarily electronic in nature
