Responsibilities
Manages 30–35 concurrent HVAC equipment projects with varying scope and dollar value, typically ranging from $1M to $3M
Drives projects from order to close-out with minimal oversight, demonstrating strong ownership and proactive decision-making
Ensures projects meet scope, schedule, and financial targets, aligning with internal accounting and operational requirements
Applies a solid understanding of HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, and construction workflows to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions
Thinks strategically about project sequencing, risk mitigation, and long-term customer relationships
Maintains consistent communication with building owners, mechanical contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams
Builds strong, professional relationships that support customer satisfaction and repeat business
Provides accurate and timely project status updates, reviews, and documentation
Secures customer acceptance and sign-off at project completion
Enters equipment orders, issues purchase orders and ensures compliance with internal procurement processes
Reviews and approves vendor invoices; issues customer invoices; reconciles project financials to maintain profitability
Compares estimated ship dates with contractor schedules and adjusts plans to maintain alignment
Generates service work orders for equipment start-ups and service visits
Ensures all projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget
Participates in company-provided training and stays current on industry best practices
Supports a collaborative, high-performance team culture
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or minimum of 3 years of project management, HVAC, mechanical, or construction-related experience
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills
Financial literacy and comfort working with budgets, cost tracking, and project accounting
Ability to work in a typical office environment with occasional job site visits
Preferred
Familiarity with commercial HVAC equipment strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft and ability to adapt to CRM software
