Responsibilities

Financial Reporting: Manage monthly close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Capital Transactions: Process and review capital contributions, distributions, and transfers while maintaining supporting documentation
Consolidations & Eliminations: Oversee intercompany reconciliations and consolidation entries to ensure accurate financial results
Expense & Performance Analysis: Analyze G&A expenses and fund-level performance to identify key drivers, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
Joint Venture Accounting: Perform equity method accounting for joint ventures and non-controlling interests in consolidated entities

Qualification

CPAReal estate accountingMicrosoft ExcelGAAP accountingYardiAnalytical skillsProblem-solvingOrganizational skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
3+ years of public accounting experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Understanding of GAAP accounting, consolidations, and joint venture structures within the real estate sector
Detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong problem-solving abilities
Organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

CPA preferred
preferred background in real estate, fund accounting, or property management
preferred experience in Yardi, Blackline, and other ERP or accounting systems
