Responsibilities
Review, negotiate, and draft real estate contracts, leases, management services agreements, operating agreements, and partnership agreements
Counsel escrow companies and other clients on governance, regulatory, licensing, and limited tax issues
Represent clients in state regulatory compliance and licensing matters
Draft real estate documents for both residential and commercial transactions
Train clients on mitigation and risk management strategies
Business development is not required but is supported and encouraged
Qualification
Required
Licensed attorney with 3-5 years of relevant real estate law experience
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills
Strong client service orientation with the ability to manage matters independently and collaboratively
Comfortable working in-office at our Westlake Village location
Driven, detail-oriented, and business-minded, with a genuine interest in long-term growth
