The role involves collaborating with the logistics team to enhance metrics and executing continuous improvement activities related to safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.

Responsibilities
The position will support daily production needs for the logistics business unit, with the largest amount of time being dedicated to new model year launch
Engagement in Daily Management system (CBS)
Collaborate with members of the logistics team to identify gaps to achieve area metrics
Execute Continuous Improvement activities related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, & Productivity
Engage with safety dept, maintenance, tool room, or external vendors to support improvements
Follow up on implemented solutions to confirm effectiveness
Support necessary line balancing activities, including time studies and work instruction updates as needed
Participate in kaizen events related to logistics as identified
Facilitate creation of operator instructions and work aids
Provide ME support in various stages of Build along with shop floor co-ordination
Co-ordination for Engineering Change Management (ECO) and implementation support, updating systems for delivery methods
Support Validation of Kitting logic (Time, BOM Consumption, Model Option)
Support packaging requirements making changes as needed
Manage kitting system and generate kit sheets
Other duties as assigned
