The Network Infrastructure Supervisor leads day-to-day operations within a data center, supervising technicians and ensuring work is completed safely and correctly while maintaining service quality and adherence to established processes.

Responsibilities
Supervise daily work for Network Infrastructure Technicians and ensure tasks are completed according to procedure
Serve as the first escalation point for urgent network infrastructure issues during assigned shifts
Ensure consistent use of policies, procedures, and safety standards
Perform quality checks on completed work and address gaps in execution or documentation
Support shift scheduling and coverage planning to meet operational demand
Track and document basic performance metrics and provide updates to management
Interpret and respond to mission-critical alerts, escalating issues when required
Ensure tools, test equipment, and materials are available, maintained, and inventoried
Provide hands-on coaching and on-the-job training for technicians
Support interviewing, onboarding, and ramp-up of new team members
Maintain cleanliness and organization of network spaces, including meet-me rooms and IDFs
Travel locally or domestically when required to support business needs
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role
Background in network infrastructure, data center operations, or IT support
Working knowledge of structured cabling standards, power, cooling, and fault tolerance
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and layer 1 connectivity issues
Experience supervising technical staff in a shift-based environment
Ability to work nights, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Experience using ticketing and monitoring systems
Preferred
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification
Experience with terminal access tools such as PuTTY or SSH
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Syslog, Nagios, or similar platforms
Cisco or other role-relevant certifications
