Responsibilities
Manage data center inventory and asset lifecycle (inbound/outbound logistics, tracking, audits)
Coordinate third-party vendor access with security teams
Perform inventory cycle counts, audits, and data corrections
Handle material movement, warranty processes, procurement, and DBD (Data Bearing Device) destruction
Ensure IAM-related tasks are completed
Provide high-quality customer service and operational support
Escalate shift-related or operational issues as needed
Rack, build, cable, configure, and provision Intel and AMD servers
Rack, cable, and deploy Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment
Perform hardware troubleshooting, testing, and quality assurance
Resolve hardware issues via ticketing systems
Support basic lab administration and hands-and-feet activities
Qualification
Required
Experience in Data Center Operations and asset management
Working knowledge of Linux and server hardware
OS installation experience: Windows Server, Linux, Unix
Understanding of data center infrastructure (CPU/GPU, networking, virtualization)
Basic hardware troubleshooting and logical problem resolution
Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred
Advanced cabling knowledge (port mapping, cable types and usage)
Experience with RAID configurations
Exposure to web server or database installations
Experience with Cisco Layer 2 networking equipment
Familiarity with scripting or automation (nice to have)
