Responsibilities
Execute functional, system, integration, regression, and UAT testing for enterprise financial systems in a SaaS environment, preferably CGI Advantage
Support testing activities for a large-scale financial system modernization , including validation of transactions, balances, and reporting outputs
Develop, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
Perform financial data validation and reconciliation testing to ensure accurate postings and balances during conversions and ongoing releases
Support integration testing for interfaces with external enterprise systems, including batch processes, APIs, and secure file transfers
Partner with business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate end-to-end financial processes
Identify, document, and track defects using enterprise QA and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Test Savvy or equivalent)
Collaborate with system analysts, developers, vendors, and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Validate security roles and access controls , including segregation of duties and compliance requirements
Maintain thorough QA documentation to support audit and quality standards
Support Agile or hybrid delivery models , including sprint reviews, release readiness, and post-release stabilization
Qualification
Required
8+ years of software quality assurance experience across multiple testing phases (unit, system, integration, regression, smoke, UAT)
8+ years supporting enterprise-scale financial systems (ERP or equivalent)
7+ years working in a SaaS-based application environment, including vendor-managed releases
6+ years supporting system implementations, major upgrades, or modernization initiatives
6+ years developing and executing detailed test plans, cases, and scripts
5+ years using test management and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Test Savvy or equivalent)
5+ years hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, or similar)
4+ years performing financial data validation and reconciliation testing
4+ years strong manual testing experience, including exploratory testing and UAT support
Proven ability to work independently, lead QA efforts, and collaborate across technical and business teams
Preferred
Hands-on experience with CGI Advantage ERP, including financial modules and security roles
Experience supporting government financial systems (state, local, or federal), particularly treasury or comptroller environments
Experience supporting USAS replacement or financial system modernization initiatives
Experience testing financial system integrations, including batch processing, APIs, and secure file transfers
Experience validating security roles, access controls, and segregation of duties
Experience supporting post-go-live stabilization and production releases
Familiarity with Power BI or Advantage-native reporting tools for financial validation
Experience collaborating directly with vendors in a SaaS delivery model
