Responsibilities

Serving as the Developmental, Test, Evaluation & Assessments (DTE&A) Deputy Director for Cybersecurity and Interoperability (DD for Cyber/Interop)
Serving as the principal advisor to the Director and Deputies for all cyber and interoperability engineering and developmental test and evaluation (DT&E) matters
Providing experienced and innovative cyber and interoperability engineering and test & evaluation expertise for various programs
Planning, reviewing, evaluating, advising on, and taking corrective action as necessary regarding the Department of War's DT&E cyber program and policies
Managing the internal cyber and interoperability Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) staff to support the DTE&A Deputies' needs

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited education institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees

Total salary varies depending on location of position
May be required to successfully complete a probationary/trial period
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Required to participate in the direct deposit program
This position is subject to pre-employment and random drug testing
This position requires you to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance with SCI and SAP components
Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, is required
This position may require occasional travel (up to 15%) away from your normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft
This is a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act position. Level 2 Engineering and Technical Management Practitioner acquisition certification required
Selectee must execute, as a condition of appointment, a written agreement to remain in Federal service in the position for at least three years
Situational telework may be authorized, subject to the explicit approval of the supervisor, and is limited to weather and safety emergencies only
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your experience with weapon systems acquisition processes; overseeing developmental test and evaluation across various engineering disciplines; and managing diverse, multi-agency teams composed of military personnel, civilians, and contractors
Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus
