Mentor team members and build an empowered team
Foster an atmosphere of growth and improvement
Manage cost centers and budgets
Product Safety
Establish and manage Processes, Trainings, and SOP’s to:
Track Product Safety Issues
Analyze Data and Identify Trends
Identify Root Causes
Draft Formal Documentation
Train Outside departments in Product Safety Processes
Continuous Improvement
Establish and manage processes and SOPs to:
Track Defects
Analyze Defect Data/Identify Trends
Identify Root Causes
Create Effective Corrective Actions
Rework Products
Refurbish Products
Travel And Communication
Travel to customer sites (domestically) and Manufacturing sites (internationally) 6-12 times per year
Communicate with domestic and global teams during non-business hours
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field is required
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance roles
Minimum 3 years of management/leadership experience
Experience using Six Sigma tools and techniques and leading Continuous Improvement Projects
Experience working with Asia-based teams in Manufacturing, R&D, and Quality
Preferred
ASQ certification is preferred
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and/or SAP
Proficiency in Office 365 products
