Responsibilities
Originate, pitch, negotiate, and close paid brand partnerships
Present partner packages, category exclusivity, integrated placements, creator-style reads, usage rights, whitelisting/paid amplification permissions, affiliate overlays, and renewals/upsells
Price inventory, protect brand value, and negotiate terms
Build a pipeline across categories and keep opportunities moving through proposal, legal, and close
Demonstrate recent closed-deal receipts for at least 5 paid sponsorship/brand partnership deals in the last 12–24 months
Maintain an active buyer network
Sell both cash deals and performance-structured deals
Understand brand safety and FTC compliance
Qualification
Required
At least 5 paid sponsorship/brand partnership deals in the last 12–24 months
Ability to clearly explain (a) who signed, (b) the fee range, (c) the cycle length, and (d) the deliverables and rights granted
Active buyer network with real relationships with decision-makers who take meetings and buy
Proof of ability to sell both cash deals and performance-structured deals (cash + affiliate)
Understanding of brand safety and FTC compliance
Fluency in modern deal structures: presenting partner packages, category exclusivity, integrated placements, creator-style reads, usage rights, whitelisting/paid amplification permissions, affiliate overlays, and renewals/upsells
Ability to price inventory, protect brand value, and negotiate terms that don't destroy long-term leverage
Capability to build a pipeline across categories and keep opportunities moving through proposal, legal, and close
