Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities

Verify that container parts and dimensions match the drawing within allowable tolerances after training
Perform leak tests per CPC procedures and other Quality tests per procedure after training
Verify gasket installed properly
Inspect overall appearance and workmanship of completed units after painting to verify paint/stenciling is acceptable
Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner to include participating and leading problem-solving after training
Verify all accessible welds meet applicable weld codes per CPC code-specific procedures after training
Follow basic safety and quality procedures after training
Communicate effectively (verbal and written)
Document quality findings accurately
Wear proper PPE (safety glasses, earplugs, and steel toes shoes)
Lift up to 75lbs
Operate forklift after training

Inspecting overall appearance and workmanship of completed units after painting to verify paint/stenciling is acceptable

Willing and able to follow basic safety and quality procedures after training
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Good documentation skills (written)
Must wear proper PPE (safety glasses, earplugs, and steel toes shoes)
Ability to lift to 75lbs
Must be 18 years or older
Able to operate forklift after training
Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred

Worked as a Quality Inspector: 1 year
Warehouse or Shop: 1 year
Lean Methodology: (Preferred but we are willing to teach)
Welding Knowledge: (Preferred but we are willing to teach)
