Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and filing of Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and 8-K in compliance with SEC regulations
Develop and maintain reporting calendars to ensure timely SEC filings
Partner with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure accurate financial disclosures
Research and apply US GAAP and SEC regulations to complex transactions and disclosures
Serve as the primary liaison with auditors, supporting audits and internal controls testing
Drive enhancements to internal controls and financial reporting processes for efficiency

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
CPA designation required
7+ years of experience in public accounting and/or SEC reporting in a public company, with prior experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry required
Expertise in US GAAP, SEC regulations, financial reporting, revenue recognition, and equity-based compensation
Strong analytical and communication skills, self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with Workiva, Shareworks, and NetSuite preferred
