Responsibilities
Providing strategic legal counsel to internal business partners with respect to Federal and state healthcare and privacy regulations and laws
Proactively advising business partners on a wide variety of legal matters related to pharmacy and pharma services, data analytics, health insights, and other health services solutions
Identifying business and legal risks and working with the business to provide solutions which balance legal compliance and business objectives
Working closely with businesses responsible for data strategy and the development of health services segment
Supporting healthcare services and products teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of legal experience with a law firm, healthcare or retail company focused on issues related to privacy, data protection, or related regulatory matters (e.g., HIPAA, CCPA or GDPR)
3+ years of analytical skills and strong legal project management and facilitation skills
Admitted to practice law in good standing in at least one state
Preferred
Contract drafting and negotiation skills
Experience advising on payor, plan, or provider activities
Firm or In-house experience
