Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, performance issues, and workplace concerns
Implement and manage HR programs including talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, and performance management
Maintain and optimize the HRIS system; ensure integrity and confidentiality of employee records and data
Partner with business leaders to support organizational goals and workforce planning
Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to build a qualified and diverse talent pipeline
Administer compensation and benefits programs in coordination with corporate HR
Manage employee relations matters, conduct investigations, and ensure consistent application of policies
Oversee Workers’ Compensation claims and collaborate with insurance carriers and leadership on return-to-work and case resolution
Support organizational change initiatives and champion internal communication, recognition, and engagement programs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices
Participate in audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and cross-functional HR projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 3+ years of HR management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and state-specific labor laws)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems (SuccessFactors or similar)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred

HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SCP) strongly preferred
Experience in both union and non-union environments preferred
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
