Salesforce SPIFF Technical Architect (FMCG)
Next Quarter is seeking a Salesforce SPIFF Technical Architect with proven experience in designing and implementing Salesforce SPIFF solutions for FMCG organizations. The role involves architecting scalable SPIFF solutions, integrating with backend systems, and providing analytics and reporting solutions to enhance sales performance.
Responsibilities
Proven experience designing and implementing Salesforce SPIFF solutions for FMCG organizations, including incentive plan modeling for field sales, distributor sales, key accounts, and trade promotion–linked incentive programs
Strong expertise in Salesforce core platform architecture (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Platform) with deep hands-on experience in the Salesforce SPIFF managed package, data modeling, object customization, automation, and performance optimization for high-volume FMCG sales environments
Ability to architect scalable, multi-org and multi-region SPIFF solutions supporting FMCG-specific sales structures such as territory-based selling, distributor hierarchies, beat/route models, product-wise incentives, and role-based eligibility rules
Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements relevant to FMCG incentive programs, including compensation data privacy, auditability, approval workflows, role-based access controls, and internal financial controls
Experience integrating Salesforce SPIFF with ERP and FMCG backend systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, DMS, and legacy distributor systems for sales actuals, pricing, schemes, and payout processing using APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures
Strong capability in designing high-volume transaction and calculation architectures, handling daily or weekly sales uploads, distributor-level crediting, payout simulations, batch processing, reconciliation logic, and data volume management at FMCG scale
Experience leading SPIFF implementation and migration projects in FMCG environments, including transition from legacy incentive or scheme management systems to Salesforce SPIFF, ensuring data accuracy, payout correctness, audit readiness, and minimal disruption to sales operations
Ability to design and implement analytics and reporting solutions using Salesforce Reports, Dashboards, and CRM Analytics to provide insights into sales performance, scheme effectiveness, incentive attainment, payout forecasting, and ROI of trade incentives
Proven technical leadership in defining architecture standards, development best practices, deployment strategies, and release governance, supporting secure, scalable, and future-ready Salesforce SPIFF implementations for FMCG enterprises
Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex FMCG incentive logic and compensation architectures into clear guidance for business stakeholders, sales leadership, finance teams, developers, and support organizations
