InternArt Currently is a NY-based online publication covering contemporary visual arts and culture. They are looking for a Social Media Intern to support their editorial team by producing and optimizing copy across digital platforms, primarily focusing on Instagram and email.

Responsibilities
Write and edit social media captions and copy (primarily for Instagram)
Assist with email copy, including newsletters and announcements
Help schedule, organize, and repurpose content for social platforms
Track and review social media and email metrics (engagement, reach, clicks, follower growth)
Learn how to use performance data to improve copy and posting strategy
Research trends, artists, and cultural moments to support timely posts
Ensure all social content aligns with art currently’s voice, tone, and visual identity
Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions for social posts and campaigns
Qualification
Required
Strong interest in social media, digital marketing, and content creation
Comfortable writing short-form copy for platforms like Instagram
Familiarity with (or curiosity about learning) social media analytics and SEO basics
Interest in email marketing and audience engagement
Experience with Google tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
Organized, detail-oriented, and open to feedback
Enjoys working collaboratively within a small creative team
Genuine interest in visual arts, contemporary culture, and creative industries
Currently enrolled in a relevant program (Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, Art History, etc.) or a recent graduate
Preferred
A strong interest in promoting diverse voices and stories in the arts is a plus
