Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities
Develops and improves production processes
Assists with the preparation of cost estimates for given products by analyzing the production process and costing each step, providing information to be used by corporate engineering and sales staff for proposals and product pricing
Designs manufacturing process for new parts or products and maintains process documentation when modifications to existing process are made
Applies Mathematical Calcs & SPC Methods to determine manufacturing process & production cost standards. Routinely audits all processes, material flow paths, and routings to confirm standard cost accuracy
Qualification
Required
Requires a B.S. Degree in Engineering (or a technically related field) to be validated prior to employment
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working with advanced CNC machining applications in a manufacturing environment
Familiarity with controls
Lean 6 Sigma methodology
Demonstrated experience with managing equipment purchases
Ability to work with cross functional team to achieve results and meet project timelines
Must be authorized to work in the United States. No Visa sponsorship provided now or in the future for this position
