Responsibilities
Design and write programs and enhancements using COBOL, CICS, ADABAS, VSAM and IBM JCL
Contribute to the development of complex automated solutions and monitoring the performance of applications
Complete unit and system test application changes to ensure quality of work
Review customer business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Write technical specifications and complex code, engage with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements
Qualification
Required
10+ Years of experience
Programming skills in COBOL, CICS, ADABAS, VSAM and IBM JCL
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Understanding of IT SDLC
Familiarity with CMMI
Experience with testing tools
Ability to prepare flowcharts and workplans
Ability to design and write programs and enhancements
Experience in developing complex automated solutions
Ability to monitor the performance of applications
Experience in completing unit and system tests
Ability to review customer business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Ability to write technical specifications and complex code
Engagement with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements
