Responsibilities
Oversees the development and implementation of a marketing strategy for the corporation that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand
Collaborates with the President and marketing team to ensure a consistent online presence
Oversees corporate branding as well as the development and maintenance of websites including methods to create engaging content and effectiveness, ease of navigation, and clarity of information
Ensures that all content is current and relevant
Provides consistent and timely information to employees, residents and stakeholders through various communications programs
Trains new leasing and management personnel and monitors ongoing training and education
Ensures that programs are presented to the team, and training and oversight are monitored
Maintains editorial control of all marketing collateral that is presented on behalf of the communities or company
Develops and implements outreach programs
Performs a variety of tasks and assigns work duties involving the leasing and outreach at the various communities assigned
Develops and implements polices to enhance the efficiency of our communications and to further develop and maintain a positive corporate brand
Performs other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Ability to manage a staff of highly technical, creative individuals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Thorough knowledge and understanding of communications practices, tools and techniques in social media
Proficient in web design and maintenance
Organized with attention to detail
Ability to initiate and monitor several simultaneous projects
Superior ability to manage staff of the department
Ability to offer sound media relations advice to senior leadership
Excellent managerial and organizational abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work with corporate management, employees, media, and our affordable housing community
Ability to coordinate efforts to present a coherent message
Must be able to travel routinely to various community locations and events
Experience developing and implementing communications strategies
Excellent writing/editing and verbal communications skills
A strong track record as an implementer who thrives on managing a variety of key initiatives concurrently
The ability to take knowledge and transform it into exciting and useful messages and disseminate it to the right audiences through the best distribution channels is critical
Sincere commitment to working collaboratively with staff, senior leadership, our affordable housing community, and other stakeholders
Preferred
A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field is preferred
Experience supervising/managing staff as well as 3-5 yrs experience in marketing, leasing or public relations and 2-3 yrs experience in a property management role
