New Grad, Entry LevelDRMP is a construction and engineering firm, and they are seeking an Inspector Aide to assist higher-level inspectors in field surveying and construction layout verification. The role involves performing basic mathematical calculations, documenting contractor work efforts, and ensuring compliance with construction procedures.

Responsibilities
A daily documentation of the contractor's work efforts
Project field book preparation and documentation
Density logbook preparation and documentation
Material sampling and testing
Assisting with preparation of the Final Estimate package
Measure distances to verify the accuracy of dimensions of construction activity/layout
Observes work in progress to ensure that proper construction procedures are followed and materials used conform to specifications
Obtains and/or prepares material samples for laboratory testing
Examines workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standards
Records quantities of materials received or used during specified periods
Maintains daily log of construction and inspection activities
Qualification
Required
Must be High School graduate or equivalent
Must obtain FDOT Intermediate MOT within the first six months of employment
Ability to work in a team environment
Position requires a minimum of 40 hours a week with the possibility of overtime (Hourly)
