Responsibilities
Lead and maintain the site Quality Management System, including policies, procedures, and implementation
Supervise Quality Engineers, Inspectors, CMM personnel, and shop-floor quality technicians
Ensure compliance with AS9100, AS13100, and NADCAP requirements for machine shop operations
Oversee AS9102 First Article Inspection planning, execution, and documentation
Lead APQP and PFMEA activities supporting new work introduction and process changes
Manage MRB activities including disposition, containment, and documentation of nonconforming material
Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions (RCCA), including effectiveness verification
Plan and support internal and external audits; manage audit findings and corrective action closure
Develop and maintain inspection plans, measurement strategies, and acceptance documentation
Establish and deliver training for QMS procedures, inspection methods, and quality system requirements
Track and report quality performance metrics and maintain actions for corrective and preventive activities
Qualification
Required
Aerospace quality experience supporting AS9100 requirements
AS13100 experience (aerospace engine supply chain)
AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
APQP experience
PFMEA experience
NADCAP experience in a CNC machine shop environment
RCCA (root cause corrective action) experience
MRB process experience
Internal and external audit experience
Quality Management System experience (policy, procedures, implementation)
Experience creating inspection plans
Experience supervising quality teams (Quality Engineers, Inspectors, CMM, shop-floor quality technicians)
Experience developing and delivering training for quality processes and procedures
Preferred
Experience managing CMM programming and metrology workflows
Experience implementing QMS documentation structure and change control
Experience leading audit preparation, response, and corrective action closure for customer/registrar audits
