Data Analyst, Amazon Air Network Control Center
Amazon is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Network Control Center (NCC) Cargo Operations team located at the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. The role involves developing tools, creating reports, and analyzing data to support business operations and improve performance metrics.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement new tools to support the business
Create, support, and continuously improve reports and metrics that support the business operations
Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like QuickSight
Shape and deliver key metrics, reports, and indicators by which our business will assess its performance
Dive deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL, and other data manipulation languages
Work directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities
Actively manage the turnaround time and deliverables of projects, anticipate risks, and resolve issues
Publish performance metrics to assist with driving business results
Understand business impact of trends and make decisions based on available data
Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed
Communicate via telephone, instant messaging, and video telecommunications
Work independently in a high-pressure environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
3+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience
Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required
1+ years of professional or military experience
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Experience with SQL and data visualization tools such as Tableau
Experience gathering business requirements, using industry standard business intelligence tool(s) to extract data, formulate metrics and build reports
Individuals hired into this position will have unescorted access privileges to airport security identification display areas (SIDA). For this reason, eligibility for this role will be limited to individuals who pass a security screening, as required by the FAA, DHS, and TSA (as applicable)
Must be able to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges, if applicable
This position requires an employee's full and unimpaired skills and judgment to safely execute their job duties to ensure the safety and security of Amazon Air personnel, third-party contractors, Airport personnel, cargo, and equipment
This position is therefore designated as a safety sensitive position and is subject to mandatory pre-employment and, where permitted, post-hire drug testing
Preferred
Experience with end-to-end project management
Experience using very large datasets
Experience in a business analyst, data analyst or equivalent role
Experience with programming (preferably Python) to process data
Previous aviation experience
