Strategic Account Manager - Multifamily Partnerships
Liberty Rent is a dynamic organization focused on overcoming financial barriers to renting quality apartments. The Strategic Account Manager will act as a trusted advisor to property management companies, helping them increase occupancy and drive net operating income through Liberty Rent’s solutions.

Responsibilities
Act as a strategic account manager to property management clients, understanding their occupancy challenges and delivering Liberty Rent’s solutions to drive measurable business outcomes
Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities across new and existing clients
Proactively manage a book of business and use internal and external data (occupancy, default rates, conversion metrics) to identify opportunities for account growth
Leverage your industry network to identify and pursue new strategic partnerships
Collaborate with marketing to support outbound campaigns, co-branded initiatives, and client case studies
Own the client relationship lifecycle of existing properties – from onboarding to expansion – with a focus on revenue generation and long-term retention
Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, including presentations, service reviews, and strategy sessions with executive decision-makers at property management companies
Represent Liberty Rent at industry events, trade shows, and association meetings to expand brand awareness and generate leads
Partner with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Customer Support) to ensure client needs are met and exceeded
Partner with senior leadership in forecasting risk and opportunities in your portfolio of business
Track performance and revenue targets using CRM (Zoho) and data visualization tools like Power BI
Maintain CRM with detailed data for analysis and best supporting the client
Qualification
Required
5+ years of sales or account management experience in the multifamily housing industry
Established relationships with regional or national property management companies
Proven ability to exceed sales quotas and drive account growth
Strong business acumen and ability to link Liberty Rent's offering to client financial outcomes
Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel)
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel 20-30% for property visits, industry events, and trade shows
Preferred
Experience selling proptech, financial services, or occupancy-focused solutions to multifamily operators
Understanding of rental screening, leasing processes, and tenant risk models
Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field
