Responsibilities

Source, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across target industries or agencies
Conduct market research to identify potential customers, decision-makers, and use cases
Manage outbound outreach campaigns and follow-up on inbound leads
Schedule and facilitate discovery calls, demos, and meetings for senior sales or leadership
Maintain accurate records in CRM and report on pipeline activity and lead conversion
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align messaging and customer engagement
Support proposal development, RFP responses, and contracting processes as needed
Represent Accrete at conferences, events, and networking opportunities to generate awareness and leads
Continuously refine prospecting strategies based on market feedback and performance

Required

3–6+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in B2B SaaS or enterprise technology
Experience selling or supporting complex software solutions (AI/ML experience is a plus)
Proven ability to meet or exceed lead generation and sales pipeline goals
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales automation platforms
Bachelor's degree in Business or 4 years of relevant work experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills
Self-starter with a high level of initiative and accountability
Strategic thinking paired with tactical execution
Comfortable conducting discovery calls and articulating technical value propositions
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt in a startup environment
Curious and passionate about emerging technology and AI-driven transformation

Preferred

Experience working with federal customers or understanding of public sector procurement
