The intern will assist in implementing environmental policies, monitoring energy savings, and coordinating recycling efforts.

Responsibilities
Understand, support, implement, and enforce compliance to all company and regulatory environmental policies
Actively prevent pollution/reduce waste to support the attainment of established sustainability goals. Maintain an understanding and instruct employees on how their specific job can affect the environment or the health and safety of themselves or others
Support energy monitoring and savings initiatives
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local agencies and serve as a liaison with agency representatives
Prepare and submit environmental reporting according to applicable environmental regulatory requirements
Coordinate recycling efforts of all recyclable scrap at DexSys
Support the ISO 14001 environmental management system
Qualification
Required
