Qualdoc is seeking experienced Flux Core Welders and Welder/Fitters for our client in Ashland, VA. This role will be responsible for welding heavy industrial structural steel equipment and components using shop drawings for fabrication.

Qualification

Flux Core Arc weldingAWS D1.1 welding standardsRead shop drawingsRead AWS weld symbolsLift 50 lbs

Required

Experience in Flux Core Arc welding
Able to pass a Full Penetration Vertical Weld test
Able to pass a Fillet Overhead weld test
Knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding standards
Able to read shop drawings
Able to read AWS weld symbols
Able to lift 50 lbs
Have your own welding and safety equipment (welding helmet, gloves, and steel toes)
