Responsibilities
Partner with Sales & Trading on counterparty credit risk decisions
Cover hedge fund clients , assessing strategies, leverage, liquidity, and exposures
Review and approve credit limits and exposure frameworks
Monitor daily exposure, margin utilization, and stress scenarios
Support products including derivatives, repo, and securities financing
Prepare clear, concise credit memos for approval committees
Respond to ad-hoc risk requests driven by market activity
Qualification
Required
2–6+ years of experience in Credit Risk, Counterparty Risk, or S&T-aligned Risk
Strong understanding of hedge fund strategies (L/S equity, macro, relative value, event-driven)
Knowledge of derivatives, collateral, margining, and exposure metrics
Comfortable interacting with front-office stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and sound judgment in dynamic markets
Preferred
Hedge fund coverage experience at a bank or prime broker
Familiarity with ISDA / CSA structures
Advanced Excel; exposure to risk systems
CFA (or progress toward) a plus
