Responsibilities
Define and drive the enterprise CIAM roadmap in collaboration with engineering and security stakeholders
Design and document end-to-end CIAM architectures ensuring security, scalability, and compliance
Develop omnichannel CIAM patterns across Web, Mobile, and Customer Care platforms
Lead integration of Okta (or similar CIAM platforms) into cloud and hybrid environments
Implement Zero Trust principles and strong authentication/authorization models
Design frictionless user journeys including registration, login, MFA, adaptive authentication, and consent management
Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOC2, ISO 27001
Provide guidance on identity lifecycle management, federation, and privileged access
Maintain architecture diagrams, standards, and operational playbooks
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies aligned with security frameworks
Qualification
Required
8+ years of Identity & Access Management experience
3+ years focused specifically on CIAM architecture
Proven experience designing CIAM solutions for large-scale, customer-facing environments
Strong knowledge of IAM protocols: OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, XACML
Hands-on experience with CIAM platforms such as Okta (preferred), OneSpan, Twilio, etc
Strong understanding of SSO, Federation, MFA, PAM, Risk-Based Authentication
Experience integrating CIAM with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and third-party systems
Familiarity with API-driven and microservices architectures
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and DevSecOps practices
Knowledge of security standards: NIST, OWASP, MITRE, encryption frameworks
Preferred
Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS/Azure Security
Experience in financial services or regulated industries
