The role involves processing loans, ensuring documentation is complete and accurate, and acting as a point of contact for various stakeholders throughout the loan processing application.

Responsibilities
Monitors Loan Setup for all new submissions. Move loan documents into underwriting folders, set up basic conditions for underwriting, attach documents to conditions, update system status to underwriting
Identify missing documents necessary to complete package and notify loan officer
Reissues wholesale credit reports and upload to file
Receives daily department mail, scans mail and uploads to system and notifies processor/underwriter
Provide back up to underwriters
Acts as a regular direct contact with the loan originator, underwriters, team members, mortgage insurance companies, Realtors, appraisers and mortgage customers to include responding to inquiries, requesting and obtaining information, providing updates and resolution of issues as related to the processing of the application
Orders verifications as required. Reviews documents received for compliance with investor requirements and follow up with originator and/or customer as appropriate
Prepare completed package for underwriter, mortgage insurance companies and Investors with a high degree of accuracy
Upload and clear processing conditions based on level of experience
Order transcripts when requested by Underwriters
Order fraud reports on all files. Clear fraud items based on experience level
Order initial title with closing agent once loans are approved
Actively supports the service quality initiative established by the Company to provide flexible, caring, knowledgeable, responsive, accurate and timely service
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Good attention to detail, accurate
Strong communication and organizational skills
Must be a team player and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Mortgage banking experience helpful
