Responsibilities
Act as a knowledgeable internal resource on compliant healthcare entity structures
Support adherence to CPOM and state-specific healthcare regulations
Help operational teams understand and apply regulatory requirements within our MSO, PC, and pharmacy model
Support the administration of Asher Med’s healthcare compliance program
Operationalize compliance policies into day-to-day workflows
Conduct monitoring activities and assist with internal audits
Support investigations into potential compliance issues with thorough documentation and factual analysis
Support and monitor HIPAA/HITECH compliance efforts
Assist with policy management, risk assessments, and mitigation planning
Coordinate and support training related to PHI, data security, and privacy practices
Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to align compliance monitoring with patient safety and quality requirements
Support reporting and tracking related to quality, safety, and regulatory readiness
Help develop and deliver compliance training materials
Serve as a point of contact for operational teams on compliance questions
Clearly explain regulatory concepts in a practical, understandable way
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field (preferred)
2–3+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, ideally involving legal business entities
Strong working knowledge of federal healthcare laws and regulatory bodies
Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
