They are seeking a Director of Multifamily Capital Projects to lead the planning, execution, and financial management of capital improvements across their growing real estate portfolio.

Responsibilities
Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of all capital improvements and construction projects for existing buildings
Oversee major maintenance initiatives across the portfolio
Manage in-house and third-party project managers across multiple geographies
Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors
Partner with the deal team to develop capital expenditure budgets for new acquisitions
Conduct physical due diligence inspections and assess building conditions
Present capex projections and renovation feasibility to the investment committee
Develop post-acquisition capital improvement plans for newly acquired properties
Qualification
Required
7-10 years of progressive experience in capital improvements, construction management, or facilities management
Extensive experience with light, moderate, and heavy rehabilitation projects on large multifamily communities
Extensive multifamily real estate experience
Proven track record with value-add repositioning and large-scale renovation projects
Strong knowledge of building codes and permitting processes in California, Florida, and Texas
Demonstrated financial acumen with ability to develop and manage complex budgets
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field
Preferred
Master's degree in Construction Management, Real Estate Development, or related discipline
PMP, CCM, or equivalent certification
Experience managing teams and projects across multiple states
