Responsibilities
Provide administrative and technical support to specialty lines underwriters in the USA
Assist with new business submissions, renewals, endorsements, and policy issuance
Review submissions for completeness and accuracy; follow up on missing information
Prepare underwriting files, quotes, binders, and policy documentation
Enter and maintain accurate data in underwriting and policy administration systems
Coordinate with wholesalers and internal teams regarding submissions and status updates
Track deadlines, follow up on outstanding items, and support workflow management
Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, company procedures, and regulatory requirements
Assist with reporting, audits, and special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in insurance, underwriting, or a related field
Solid understanding of commercial insurance concepts
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a remote or in-office environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word); experience with underwriting or policy systems preferred
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Experience supporting specialty lines such as cyber and E&O
Prior experience working with distributed or hybrid teams
Familiarity with wholesaler/broker workflows
