Project Accountant

The Project Accountant will manage project budgets, track financial performance, and generate reports for stakeholders while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities
Manage project budgets, track financial performance, and generate reports for stakeholders
Process project-related invoices and maintain accurate financial records
Assist with project audits and collaborate with project managers to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Provide regular updates on project costs and variances while proactively identifying and addressing any discrepancies
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in financial and project accounting, including budget creation, tracking, and reporting
Experience with accounting software, financial systems, and spreadsheet tools
Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving discrepancies
Knowledge of financial compliance, auditing practices, and industry standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers and stakeholders
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
Preferred
Previous experience in the engineering or consulting industry is a plus
