Responsibilities
Evaluate our current business needs and recommend a superior CMS alternative to WordPress (e.g., Webflow, HubSpot, or another solution) that offers better security, speed, and ease of use
Build the new alescodata.com architecture from the ground up on the chosen platform, ensuring it can support the combined content of four legacy sites
Systematically extract data/content from multiple WordPress environments and re-map them into the new CMS without data loss or formatting corruption
Execute a flawless 301 redirect map for three expiring domains to ensure all search engine equity and backlink profiles are transferred to the new site
Re-establish and optimize API connections, lead-capture workflows, and marketing automation tools on the new platform
Deliver a final product that exceeds Core Web Vitals benchmarks, focusing on fast load times and mobile-first responsiveness
Qualification
Required
Proven experience building enterprise-grade sites on platforms like Webflow, HubSpot CMS, and others
Demonstrated success in 'de-platforming' from WordPress and 're-platforming' to a modern stack
Advanced knowledge of domain masking, permanent redirects, and site mapping during multi-domain mergers
Expert-level HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills
Experience with database exports, CSV mapping, and cleaning legacy 'shortcode' clutter common in WordPress exports
Preferred
Experience in the B2B Data or Marketing Services sector
A portfolio showing at least one project where multiple domains were consolidated into a single non-WordPress site
Consultative approach: Ability to explain the pros/cons of different CMS options regarding scalability and long-term maintenance
