Responsibilities
Create, implement, measure and manage social media content and campaigns on multiple social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X) to advance conservation goals
Write web features and build and update website content as needed
Produce e-newsletters for communicating with targeted audiences
Work closely with team and key stakeholders to develop content that aligns with organizational priorities and values
Match brand voice and tone and help establish position as an expert on conservation
Support integrated digital advocacy campaigns and execute visibility strategy for chapter leadership by posting new content on behalf of leaders
Develop recommendations for best practices on key platforms (e.g. LinkedIn)
Manage online communities on these platforms, engaging with commenters and other handles as necessary
Use software systems to track and analyze web metrics and social media trends
Work with senior marketing managers to implement strategic recommendations
Help advance social media strategy by bringing new knowledge and thinking to existing platforms and establishing baselines and goals for new platforms (e.g. YouTube)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience cultivating and managing client/customer relationships
Experience writing, editing and proofreading
Experience organizing and coordinating multiple projects
Preferred
Experience in marketing to diverse audiences
Experience creating and posting social media content on behalf of an organization
Experience managing multiple social media accounts
Experience producing web pages and e-mail newsletters
Solid knowledge of best practices for social media metrics reporting
Experience with social media scheduling software (e.g. Khoros)
Experience with design software (e.g. Canva) as well as photo and video editing software (e.g., Adobe CS)
Experience with email software such as MailChimp
Experience with web production and content management systems (e.g., AEM)
Proven enthusiasm for developing knowledge of social media trends and evolving platforms
