Responsibilities
Lead and oversee electrical engineering teams delivering advisory and design services
Develop concept-level electrical and power system solutions and bring them through detailed design and execution
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients across public and private market sectors
Collaborate with account managers and sales teams on strategic pursuits and proposals
Support business growth initiatives, including proposal development and scope/manhour estimates
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level engineering staff
Anticipate technical and project challenges while supporting complex, multi-disciplinary project teams
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (EE)
10+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
Strong background in utility-scale and power-related projects
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license (any U.S. state)
OR ability to obtain licensure within one year
U.S. Citizenship required
Willingness to work hybrid and travel as needed
Preferred
Power distribution systems and microgrids
Power generation projects >10 MW
High Voltage (HV) or Medium Voltage (MV) substations
Renewable energy projects (wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, etc.)
Energy storage systems
Power system modeling (SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or similar)
Protection & Control, SCADA, or power system automation
Campus utility master planning or decarbonization/climate response planning
Cogeneration or combined heat and power (CHP) systems
Thermal utility plants and distribution systems (steam, hot water, chilled water)
