Human Resources Generalist

BrownWinick is seeking an energetic and people-focused HR Generalist with a strong emphasis on Talent Acquisition to join their Human Resources team. This role blends full cycle recruiting with broader HR initiatives, including onboarding, training support, internship and mentorship program coordination, and employee relations assistance.

Responsibilities

Manage full lifecycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating, and extending offers
Partner with leaders to understand staffing needs and requirements
Source passive candidates through targeted outreach and networking
Maintain proactive pipelines and manage ATS workflows
Present qualified candidates to hiring leaders and support employer branding
Collaborate closely with attorneys and members of the Recruiting Committee to support the full hiring cycle for summer law clerks, including interviewing logistics, evaluations, and selection processes
Partner with practice group leaders and Recruiting Committee members to identify talent needs and recruit experienced attorneys for growing practice areas, ensuring a strong candidate pipeline and a positive, professional recruitment experience
Lead or co-facilitate new hire orientation training
Coordinate onboarding logistics, materials, and process improvements
Assist with coordinating firmwide training sessions
Manage logistics, scheduling, and attendance tracking
Support development of ongoing learning initiatives
Assist in planning and execution of internship programs
Support recruitment, onboarding, and engagement of interns
Help maintain mentorship program communication and structure
Support documentation and coordination of employee relations efforts
Assist with confidential HR matters and internal communications
Participate in special projects and HR initiatives

Required

Experience in recruiting or talent acquisition
Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Experience with internship or mentorship programs
Exposure to employee relations processes
Experience in professional services environments
