Responsibilities
Developing and supporting customer-facing web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Oracle SQL
Creating new features and maintaining existing systems with a focus on backend server-side development, integrating with front-end technologies like Angular or React
Qualification
Required
Java: At least 6 years of server-side web development experience, with a focus on delivering scalable, production-quality Java applications
Spring Framework: Minimum 3 years of experience working extensively with Spring, particularly Spring JPA and Spring Security, for building secure and data-driven services
Java Container Frameworks: Proven experience with containerization and application servers such as Tomcat or similar
Testing Frameworks: Hands-on experience with unit testing using frameworks like JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality
Oracle SQL and Relational Databases: Strong analytical skills with proven experience in designing, querying, and troubleshooting Oracle database systems
Front-End Integration: Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, AngularJS, or React, and responsive design principles for cohesive front-end/back-end integration
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions during development and support phases
Preferred
Hibernate ORM: Experience with Java database frameworks such as Hibernate or JPA for data persistence
Front-End Technologies: Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, Bootstrap, and responsive design for seamless UI development
DevOps and CI/CD Tools: Knowledge of Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Prior experience working in retail or customer-facing application environments
