Responsibilities

Learn and evangelize how big data plays a role in modernizing Ocean and Air freight procurement
Identify and qualify new business opportunities by networking with global logistics leaders in Global Fortune 500 companies
Research accounts for relevant news, personas and other intent signals to create personalized and value-led prospecting outreach
High level of focus on keeping the CRM up to date
Provide a seamless introduction to AE by documenting qualification meetings and creating genuine rapport potential clients
Help drive new opportunities into mid-funnel stage by coordinating NDA signature
Develop strategies with your assigned AE to conquer assigned market segment
Over time develop the skills you need for your next role in the company

Required

Experience from sales or tender/pricing desks within a Freight Forwarding or Carrier organization is a must, meaning you have a in-depth knowledge of Logistics and/or Freight Procurement
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Entrepreneurial spirit – If you see something that's broke, you fix it
Relentless drive to deliver quota
Strategic thinker with a strong understanding of organisational structure - you quickly learn the stakeholder landscape and how to adapt to their needs
Ambitious long-term career goals and a strong work ethic to reach them
Ability to work across multiple systems in the tech stack
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Preferred

2-3 years of professional work experience in sales, business development, client success, financial services, or consulting
BA/BS degree
Experience with and appreciation of 'hunter' sales
