Mid LevelNew York Technology Partners is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to support the consolidation of Trade Finance and Asset Based Lending platforms. This role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and application vendors to define the target-state application architecture and ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities
Partner with business units, technology teams, and vendors to gather and document requirements
Define and support target-state application architecture for specialty lending platforms
Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
Support data migration, platform consolidation, and system integration initiatives
Lead and facilitate project meetings with business and technical stakeholders
Break down conversion scope into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Align agile sprints with mock runs and cutover milestones
Support data mapping, system integration design, and change impact analysis
Assist with test planning including mock conversions, SIT, UAT, and regression testing
Track open items and ensure timely resolution
Create process flows, data lineage diagrams, and documentation using standard tools
Qualification
Required
Background in banking
Experience working with Commercial Loan Servicing platforms
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex, cross-functional environments
Ability to translate business needs into clear technical requirements
Experience supporting large-scale migrations, system integrations, or platform consolidations
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Experience converting scope into epics/stories with acceptance criteria
Preferred
Experience with Asset Based Lending (ABL) or Trade Finance applications
Experience with M&A-related system integrations or platform consolidations
Knowledge of Day 1 vs Day 2 scope, data mapping, change impacts, and integration playbooks
Familiarity with test strategies including mock conversions, SIT/UAT planning, regression testing, and file/spec verification
Proficiency in: Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Visio (process flows and data lineage), Confluence, SharePoint, Secure file transfer (MFT/SFTP)
